Do we really exist?

What if I told you that you don’t really exist?… at least not the way you think you do.
Do you know who you are? How much do you really know about yourself?
If we met today and I asked you to tell me who you were, what would you tell me?
I am a very big enthusiastic of self-development and self-realisation, and it wasn’t until I embarked in this wonderful journey that I realized all I thought I knew about my self wasn’t actually me.
A lot of us believe we are our bodies alone. The body wants and desires and they just can’t resist the urges. But as a spiritual medium, someone who can see the spirit of those who no longer inhabit a physical body, I can’t believe we are our bodies. If it were so, than we would cease to exist when the body dies, and I have more than enough proof that it isn’t true.
Others believe we are our emotions or our feelings. They cannot control what they are experiencing in the moment and let themselves be controlled by rage or anger or even sadness.
Well, if we were our emotions or feelings, we would cease to exist the moment they changed, wouldn’t we? And emotions and feelings do change quite often, so that cannot be true.
What about our thoughts?
Most of us believe the constant voice in our heads is who we are. We believe every word because we believe it is us. If that was true then you would not survive the absence of thoughts… and you do.
I want you to really consider this.
If you are not your body, your feelings, your thoughts… what are you?
This is probably the most important question you will ever ask yourself, don’t dismiss it even if it becomes uncomfortable.
I really want to know what you discovered, share your findings here below and let’s take our learning to a whole new level.
Do you need help figuring this all out? Let’s talk.

There is a simple answer here. Energy - energy can neither be destroyed nor created either in which case we are eternal.
